Arch, with the Sharp Edges Filed Off

XeroLinux By DarkXero · xerolinux.xyz

Powered by Arch Linux & KDE Plasma.

XeroLinux ships a configured KDE Plasma 6 desktop on top of Arch with a working installer, a Kernel Manager for swapping in CachyOS and other tuned kernels, an SCX tool for modern schedulers, and the in-house XeroLinux Toolkit for post-install setup. A separate T.U.I. installer is free forever; the polished ISO uses a one-time contribution that unlocks updates for life.

Why XeroLinux?

Three concrete things you get on day one: performance you can actually tune, a release model that respects your wallet, and tooling that keeps you out of the terminal when you do not want to be there.

Kernel Manager + SCX Scheduler

Swap to the CachyOS kernel (or other tuned variants) without touching pacman, and flip between modern schedulers like LAVD, RustLand, and BPFLand through the SCX tool. Real, measurable gains for gaming and latency-sensitive work, controlled from a GUI.

Donate Once. Updates for Life.

The polished ISO uses a one-time contribution model. Pay once and every quarterly release after that is yours, no subscription, no recurring nag. Prefer free? The T.U.I. installer stays free forever and ships the same system underneath.

In-House Toolkit + Package Manager GUI

Post-install, the XeroLinux Toolkit handles drivers, themes, gaming stacks, and tweaks from one panel; the XeroLinux Package Manager GUI fronts pacman, AUR, and Flatpak in a single window. Less terminal hunting, more time using the machine.

Arch, Refined

Underneath the polish, you get the real thing: a rolling Arch base with full pacman, the AUR, and direct upstream packages. Nothing is forked, nothing is held back behind a downstream release cycle.

The job of XeroLinux is to remove the boring parts. Sane defaults, a working KDE Plasma 6 desktop, a Calamares-driven install that does not flinch on UEFI or NVMe, and a chassis of in-house tools layered on top. From there, the system is yours: theme it, strip it, rebuild it, the Arch you wanted from the start.
